Is a wireless alarm system reliable? A fair question. Many people think that a wireless alarm system is not reliable. It is often said that the signal is too disruptive, batteries run out quickly or that it often causes false alarms or malfunctions.

You won't find a good and reliable alarm system at a hardware store. This kind of system is asking for trouble in terms of malfunctions or false alarms.

1. The wireless signal is easily disturbed
Our Alarmanlageoperate on the 868.95 Mhz where each wireless component has its own (unique) digital coding with the central unit and thus outside interference has no chance. Compare it to DECT phones, they are undetectable due to their unique code. In addition, our systems have jam detection that detects any attempts of outside interference.

2. Batteries do not last long and are expensive
The batteries included with our systems will last at least 3 to 5 years under normal use. All batteries are Lithium and these types of batteries are known for their long life. If a battery is in danger of running out, the intrusion system will make this known well in advance by issuing a low battery notification. You then will still have plenty of time to replace it with a new one. Today, all types and sizes of Lithium batteries are available at competitive prices. (See our webshop under batteries) If you spread the purchase cost over the number of years they last then this is a minimal investment.  

3. A wireless alarm system is expensive

All components are supplied with the corresponding Lithium batteries so you don't have to worry about this. With a wired system often comes expensive wiring costs as opposed to a wireless system where these are often installed and delivered in one day .
