Service explanation for JA-110I

BUS section / output PG activation indicator

This product is a subsection of the JABLOTRON JA-100 alarm system. It provides an optical indication of the status of system sections (armed/disarmed) or the state of programmable outputs. The product is intended to be installed by a trained technician with valid Jablotron certificate.

Installation

1. Open the indicator cover by loosening the four snap clips using a suitable flat-blade screwdriver, turning in the direction of arrows.
2. Loosen the snap clip (1) and remove the plate.

3. Using the switch (2), set the number of the section requiring indication (see Tab. 1) or PG output (see Tab.2).
4. Pull the cable through the opening made (4) and attach the indicator backplate at the selected position.
5. Fold back the indicator plate and connect the bus cable to the terminals (5).
For connecting the BUS, the system must be disconnected from the power supply.

If the indicator is located outside the area to be monitored, the supply must be separated from its BUS with a JA-110T bus isolator.

6. After switching on the system, test its operation.
7. Replace the indicator cover.

Notes:
- Indicator does not occupy any position in the central unit (it is not classified in the system).
- In case of several connected modules with the same setting, they are going to give the same indication.
- Number of indicators is limited only by current draw from the central unit.
