Note: without internal unit, this outdoor unit cannot control an external doorbell

Aandachtspunten:

• WiFi: This product is also WiFi capable. However, it is not recommended to use this outpost as a SIP server while connected to WiFi. This can be done but in case of signal problems this will affect the entire intercom system. Our helpdesk provides support for problems related to the Intercom, however, our helpdesk does not provide support for Wi-Fi problems.

• Stand alone:This outdoor unit can be applied standalone as a video doorbell. This means that the outpost can be directly paired with the Dahua DMSS app.

• SIP ServerThe outdoor unit can also be used as a SIP server within an intercom system. However, it is not recommended to use the outdoor unit as a SIP server when it is connected to the Wifi. The entire intercom system is connected to the SIP server. If the signal, the available bandwidth or the stability of the Wifi is not satisfactory that will cause problems in the entire intercom system.

• IP65:The specifications indicate that this device is IP65. This refers to the front side. The rear should be glued in outdoor applications.

• Exterior installation:For outdoor installation, we therefore recommend combining this product with the plastic VTM09R rain hood. This rain hood is made of plastic. Bear in mind that this may deform a little on a non-level surface. It should also be glued on the back.

• Own audio files: An addition of the 4.5 firmware is the function to upload your own mp3 audio files. This allows you to play a personal welcome text. Please note that these mp3 audio files can only be a maximum of 20kb.

• Card reader: The outdoor unit features a card reader suitable for Mifare. It is possible to add up to 10,000 users.

• SD card slot: The SD card slot in the VTO has no function for the time being.
