The Mobeye Argos offers the user the option of a silent or a loud alarm as soon as intruders are detected. A silent alarm increases the chance of being caught, a loud alarm is more likely to drive the intruders away. In addition, the Mobeye Argos sends an SMS message and a telephone call to self-settable telephone numbers. In this way you need not miss a notification.
The Mobeye is not only a burglar alarm. It also has a temperature sensor built in. You set a lower and/or upper limit. If the limit is exceeded, you get an instant warning. Instant protection against freezing danger, or overheating.
The batteries have a long service life. With a daily test message, the batteries last for over a year. With a lower frequency or no test message, this is longer. As soon as the batteries need replacing, you will receive a 'battery low' SMS.
The Mobeye has a number of simple setting options. For instance, you can have your own recognition text sent along with the SMS text. The walk-in delay and sensor sensitivity are adjustable. The siren can be switched on or off, as well as the signal during the walk-in delay. And to determine the right provider for your SIM card, you can receive the strength of all available GSM providers in the area by SMS. This allows you to make the right choice of SIM card in your device.
