IPC-HDBW2831R-ZS-S2 8 MP Dome Motor Zoom PoE

The Dahua IPC-HDBW2831R-ZS-S2 is an 8 megapixel Ultra 4K HD dome camera with POE, a motorised varifocal lens (note this is not a ptz camera), infrared night vision, SD card slot and 120dB WDR for indoor or outdoor use. The camera features the latest H.265 encoding protocol for highly efficient use of network bandwidth and image storage space.

Possibilities
The IPC-HDBW2831RP-ZS-S2 displays images in Full HD 3840x2160 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a true day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR illumination, ensuring razor-sharp images even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR illumination has a range of no less than 40 metres. The camera features 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to backlighting from the sun or car headlights, for example.

The motorised adjustable c varifocal lens allows the camera to focus remotely on an image far away or an image close by. With this zooming in and out, the horizontal angle of view varies with the camera between 113 and 31 degrees.

The IPC-HDBW2831RP-ZS-S2 features Intelligent Video System (IVS) which enables smart detection such as Tripwire and Intrusion.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also features the ability to record to a microSD memory card of up to 256Gb.

Dahua has a free Dutch-language app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Free Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded from Dahua's website. The "Documentation" tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The IPC-HDBW2831RP-ZS-S2 has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideally suited for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered by an optional 12V power adapter. Under the "Options" tab, you can specify whether an adapter should be included. Suitable Dahua mounting brackets are listed under the "Options" tab. The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and is therefore also very suitable for mounting vertically against a wall. The camera has an IK10 vandal resistance rating.
