In every Mobeye surveillance device a SIM card is needed for the communication. A SIM card is included with the product that you can use at a favorable rate, and which immediately offers the additional benefits of the Mobeye Internet Portal. Alternatively, you can use your own SIM card.

Mobeye SIM card:
For optimal security and ease of use, use the Mobeye SIM card and connect the device to the Mobeye Internet Portal, the online web app. The SIM card is usually supplied with the product and you activate it online.
It is a 'multi-provider' machine-to-machine card*. The SIM card is allowed to connect to all networks on site, which means that you are not dependent on one provider. So you are assured of a strong and stable network. The card has a flat fee for Europe for the prices.

Additional features when using the Mobeye Internet Portal:
• programming the unit via the internet
• alert via email, SMS and call
• display of the location of the device (based on Cell-Id)
• reporting as 'keep alive' messages are lacking
• SMS or email when battery is low
• distinction between technical messages and alarm messages
• insight into history
• The Mobeye Internet Portal offers additional options per device, such as specific authorizations and timers for the
Mobeye Call-Key, graphs and meters for devices with logging functions, etc.

Own SIM card:
It is possible to use your own SIM card. You then use the device “stand alone”, the advantages of the Mobeye Internet Portal are lost. Please note that the card is suitable for 2G, can call and text and has the “normal format”.
* Formally, only machine-to-machine SIM cards may be used in (all) devices and “06 numbers and foreign equivalents” are only intended for telephoning. This is an additional reason to choose the Mobeye SIM card.
